LEG BYPASS

by Diane

Hello
My mom is a 70yr/non-smoker, weight controlled,
normally active person! She is a kidney recipient for about 6 yrs with a stable heart condition

She had a wicked leg bypass in Nov/09...a prostatic vein was used...Her pain now is minimal
cant quite bend or cross the leg.

The wound has thankfully closed/healed naturally with no infections!! However the SWELLING and bloating is un-real. Her leg doesn't look like her own leg.

Her vascular/nephrologist/physical therapist all say the wound is ok, just healing extremely slow.
I'm very disturbed by the time the swelling is taking to dissipate.

Does this sound normal to you?
